Lissa Noel

After completing undergraduate and master’s degrees in speech pathology, Lissa Noel found that none of her formal education fully prepared her to keep her marriage and love to college sweetheart, Randy, not just alive, but flourishing. She found instruction manuals for everything from how to organize your house to how to improve your golf swing, and she wanted a similar manual for improving your marriage. She didn’t want to just survive marriage – she wanted to thrive in her marriage.

In forty years of marriage, Lissa has gathered wisdom from countless sources, both classical and contemporary. They encouraged her to set goals and create strategies to deal with her evolving marriage in a world filled with challenges and distractions. She says, “I’m convinced that investing in your marriage can reap lasting dividends.”

Lissa finds that the only thing more motivating than learning a new marriage skill is sharing it with others. She continues to teach and encourage all ages in civic and Christian settings. She is most fulfilled when she is nurturing her faith, family, and friends and living a life of gratefulness and purpose.
